Out of New York, New York comes a sleek indie/alternative pop-rock duo that is prepared to make some noise with their sass, infectious hooks, and ability to create a beat that is irresistible, and that group is Vista. Vista recently released their single via Spotify entitled “Witch Hunt”.
“Witch Hunt” is a phrase that refers to that state of mind where it feels like everyone is out to get the accused simply by association or to purposely tarnish their reputation. In the lyrics, vocalist Hope Vista definitely does an impeccable job of conjuring up those images of a “witch hunt” with her catchy melodies and providing the emotions necessary to magnify the feelings of the song.
Greg Almeida does a fantastic job of making the track have more hooks than a fishing tackle box, which provides some originality for Vista. I can tell with his musicianship that he has an ear for melody and a way of making the arrangements of the song sound as intricate as possible.
Overall, this track is an enjoyable piece of music for those that are into pop, industrial, new wave, or some good adult alternative rock. The sky is the limit for Vista for this one as Madness To Creation gives this song an 8 out of 10 stars!
