The Musician’s Tribune Vol. 46: “My Personal Spotify Playlist” by DARRO

Editor’s Note:  Today, New York City rocker DARRO is releasing his single entitled “You’re Not Insane” via all streaming outlets.  The song reminds me of some 90’s alternative rock that dominated the airwaves.  The guitar work is tasty and the synths during the instrumental break are the cherry on top of the sundae.  Definitely download it via Spotify!  Darro could be one of the more inspirational artists that I’ve covered.  He recovered from surgery on a brain tumor, granted it wasn’t cancerous but that’s nothing to mess with!  He had to learn to sing, speak, and chew food all over again. But his art and his story is an inspiration to us all at Madness To Creation.  We want to thank Darro for sharing his Spotify playlist with us and find Darro at the following locations:

-This playlist is a small compilation of the different types of music that influence me. I tried really hard to curate songs that are at least a little similar to each other but then I realized that I wasn’t being honest with myself. My listening mood is pretty sporadic and can change after every song, and I can find reasons to like just about anything. Just like anyone else, I listen to different types of music for different things, but I draw influences from the music in different ways. I grew up listening to 2000s R&B and swooning melodic singers will always hold a place in my heart, but aggressive and melodic guitars gives you a feeling that no other instrument can. So here’s a very small representation of music that influences the music I write. – Darro

On Friday, August 2nd, Darro has a gig at The Bitter End in New York, New York.  For tickets and further information, click here.

The vision that I have for this site was that I was getting weary of sites that evolve from the original message to what I refer to as "tabloid magazine stand at the grocery store checkouts" kind of sites. My heart is with the underground bands and for the bands/artists that strive to hit that dream, and they spend thousands of dollars on equipment just to play a $100 show! Please contact me and I will review you. I promise to bring you quality news, interviews, and reviews. I have a master's degree and the madness that you're creating in your art is what I'm passionate about! Feel free to contact me, I respond to all emails and to all comments on here! I am an open book! If you see a suggestion on how to improve the site, please make me aware of it! This is YOUR site. I am also in search of writers! Please hit me up with a writing sample and why you're interested. I have NO minimum content requirements, I understand that you have families to feed and a roof over your head(as do I).
