About Reach The Shore:
Formed in 2012, Belgian rockers Reach The Shore have established their name with atmospheric instrumentals and heavy breakdowns. Intertwining with both, the melodic and emotive vocals of Chris Kuhn, bringing together a sound underpinned by a unique and progressive brand of metalcore.
The band’s debut effort Faith & Confidence hit shelves in 2014, with the record addressing topics such as social problems and human nature on the rookie record.
In 2017, Reach The Shore returned with a concept album named Hikaya. Speaking on the record, Thibaud Piron shares: “This album tells the story of Nilaya who has to go through a process of purification before reaching a moral revolution, all with the help of a boy called Akhil. Each song on this album is illustrated by a video clip that will take you through the enchanting universe created by the band.”
The Belgian rockers’ expansive approach to their craft hits new highs on “Hikaya”, with the depth of the storytelling and musical precision set to make its mark across the alternative genre.
Reach The Shore’s new video for “Akhil” is out now.
