Song of the Day: “A Future Divided” by Shaping The Legacy

This story and band is simply too unreal to just simply pass up or to not take notice.  Shaping The Legacy is one of those bands where you stumble upon and you’re thinking, “holy crap”, what is going on with the sound and the feels when you turn it up to 11!  This band, in the midst of the trials and tribulations, of their tour with The Convalescence and Wings Denied, which consisted of them starting a GoFundMe page due to their van breaking down, and an AMAZING business known as Stingray Auto Repair not only got them back on the road, but charged the band NOTHING.  Not even for parts, labor, or lot fees!  This story needs to be spread and talked about.

There is goodness left in the world in the midst of yet another terrorist attack in New York City that left eight dead and another injured today.  There are good people out there, there is hope for humanity.  When we seem down and broken, we need to call upon our strength, lean on each other, and like Mr. Rogers, look for the helpers, because there are always people helping.  This band out of San Antonio, Texas, will see the fruits of their hard labor pay off with tickets sold, merchandise worn, and music heard.  These four guys are as humble and down to earth as they get as well!  This song is off of their “Colors of Infinity” album, which I encourage you to pick up a copy of it here.

The vision that I have for this site was that I was getting weary of sites that evolve from the original message to what I refer to as "tabloid magazine stand at the grocery store checkouts" kind of sites. My heart is with the underground bands and for the bands/artists that strive to hit that dream, and they spend thousands of dollars on equipment just to play a $100 show! Please contact me and I will review you. I promise to bring you quality news, interviews, and reviews. I have a master's degree and the madness that you're creating in your art is what I'm passionate about! Feel free to contact me, I respond to all emails and to all comments on here! I am an open book! If you see a suggestion on how to improve the site, please make me aware of it! This is YOUR site. I am also in search of writers!
