(Mental Health Conversations) Madness To Creation Podcast Season 2 Ep. 13: Elias Soriano of NONPOINT

Editor’s Note:  Elias Soriano, frontman of the amazing metal band Nonpoint, sat down with the Madness To Creation Podcast to get some things off his chest in a “Ruthless” fashion.  Nah, he was chill as the North Pole(for now given climate change).  Nonpoint has had one of the most productive “offseasons” aka Covid Season in the music industry.  First of all, they started their own record label called 361 Degrees.  Elias and his camp are taken their knowledge on what they learned in the music industry and applying it to the label and to bands and recording artists.  Secondly, they’ve had a song be the main theme song for the superior wrestling company AEW entitled “Ruthless.”.  “Ruthless” is creating unprecedented success for this band.  If you don’t believe me, check out their viral video from Rockfest in Cadott, Wisconsin yesterday.  They got the entire audience jumping up and down, and they hit it harder than ever live.  That’s Nonpoint.  Whether it’s 50 or 50,000 people, they deliver just as hard.  I argue that Nonpoint is one of the most underrated bands in the history of modern rock/metal history.  They tear the house down each and every night live, they get songs in pay-per-views, video games and viral videos and this success had given them their own record label.

In this mental health conversation with Madness To Creation Podcast, Elias Soriano of Nonpoint discusses lessons he’s learned from the music industry, “Ruthless”, his brother serving in the military and the trials he’s enduring, and the most challenging aspects of running his record label.  Fans can find Nonpoint on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.  Fans can find this podcast on Spotify, Spreaker, SoundCloud, iHeartRadio, JioSaavn, Podchaser, Podcast Addict, YouTube and Google Podcasts.  Check out the time stamps below if there’s a particular part you want to listen to in this podcast:

The vision that I have for this site was that I was getting weary of sites that evolve from the original message to what I refer to as "tabloid magazine stand at the grocery store checkouts" kind of sites. My heart is with the underground bands and for the bands/artists that strive to hit that dream, and they spend thousands of dollars on equipment just to play a $100 show!
