(Mental Health Conversations) Madness To Creation Podcast Season 2 Episode 7: ADRIAN GURVITZ

Editor’s Note:  British Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter/producer Adrian Gurvitz has worked with the who’s who of the music industry.  He’s worked with the legends we all know and love such as Eddie Money, Steve Perry(Journey), Pixie Lott, Transviolet, CeCe Winans, and his most notable accomplishment:  his work on The Bodyguard soundtrack, which sold over 16 million copies in the United States alone.  Adrian is also known for his classic song “Classic”, which was a top ten pop single in the United Kingdom, and also reached the Top 40 in the U.S. in 1982.  Recently, Adrian’s work was featured in the Billie Holiday biopic “The United States vs. Billie Holiday”.  Andra Day played the role of Billie Holiday in the biopic and was nominated for an Oscar for her work.  Adrian produced it.

I could go on and on about Adrian Gurvitz’s accomplishments, but I’m sure he doesn’t want me to. He is a true gentleman in every sense of the word.  A man that was a high school dropout accomplished what he accomplished based on his love for his craft and his perseverance in the craft.  In this special podcast on Madness To Creation, you get to hear amazing Adrian Gurvitz stories about how to craft a song, how he worked with Andra Day, and he touched on working on The Bodyguard soundtrack, and he talked about his family and his mental health.  Fans can find Adrian Gurvitz at www.adriangurvitz.com

The vision that I have for this site was that I was getting weary of sites that evolve from the original message to what I refer to as "tabloid magazine stand at the grocery store checkouts" kind of sites. My heart is with the underground bands and for the bands/artists that strive to hit that dream, and they spend thousands of dollars on equipment just to play a $100 show! Please contact me and I will review you. I promise to bring you quality news, interviews, and reviews. I have a master's degree and the madness that you're creating in your art is what I'm passionate about! Feel free to contact me, I respond to all emails and to all comments on here! I am an open book! If you see a suggestion on how to improve the site, please make me aware of it! This is YOUR site. I am also in search of writers!
