Contributor’s Note:  Johnny Iguana, pianist extraordinaire, of The Claudettes joins The Don’s Hit List with The Don & The Grizz for the 253rd episode via FAB Radio International.  Recently, The Claudettes released the single for “Kept Them In The Dark” which sounds like a cross between Allen Touissant with The Black Keys. In 2020, The Claudettes released the album “High Times In The Dark” to critical acclaim and was named “Album of the Week” by L.A. Weekly.  Here is what Johnny discussed with The Don:
