Contributor’s Note:  Palmyra Delran appeared on the 221st episode on The Don’s Hit List with The Don & The Grizz via FAB Radio International.  In this episode, The Don and Palmyra discusses how amazing the Wicked Cool Records label and how they give her total freedom in her vinyl releases and in her creativity. They also talk about the feeling that record stores bring about.  Palmyra Delran also talks about the music and influences that Fountains of Wayne bring and her amazing friendship with the legendary Deborah Harry of Blondie. On February 12th, Palmyra Delran & The Doppel Gang released a dual vinyl-single entitled “Lucky In Love” and a cover of “Who’s Been Sleeping Here” by Tuff Darts.  They also talk about how kick ass the band Edsel is. 

About Palmyra Delran:  Palmyra Delran has released singles entitled “Come Spy With Me” featuring Deborah Harry of Blondie and Little Steven and “Happy Birthday Middle Child” with Deborah Harry, and “You’re My Brian Jones.”  Palmyra Delran has the show “Trash-Pop Shindig” on Little Steven’s Underground Garage, which fans can listen to on SiriusXM. She has opened for The Ramones and Cheap Trick and has played with Pink Slip Daddy and co-founded the 90’s girl-group The Friggs, and has raised over $15,000 for ALS research with the punk-rock supergroup The Coolies.
