Weekend Brunch Vol. 12: “Christmas Ideas for the Music Lover Vol. 3” Spotify Playlist!

Editor’s Note:  Welcome to this special third weekend of December edition of Weekend Brunch Edition Weekly News and Spotify Playlist via Madness To Creation! This playlist theme is “Christmas Hints for the Music Lover Vol. 3”. The air is crisp, and people are getting stressed out knowing that the holidays are right around the corner.  As we have been crazy busy with our work weeks, we are celebrating the weekend!  We crack open some eggs, fry up some steak, and enjoy some brunch.  But wait, we missed out some music news and you might be wanting some new music to check out!  Well, Madness To Creation is your hookup, holler if you hear us!  #SorryScottSteiner  So, after you put away the Halloween decorations, sit back and relax and enjoy this weekly Spotify playlist. It is broken down into the following categories:

  1.  Meat & Taters:  This is where the heavy hitters come in to play.  The main course if you will.  Chances are you’ve heard of this group.
  2.  Light & Fluffy:  This is where a band/artist might come off on the lighter side of music.  Where you might have a potato pancake with the glass of OJ.
  3.  Tailgate:  Because you can’t wait til lunch or supper so these bands/artists get you in the mood to tailgate and party over brunch.
  4.  On The Side:  These bands/artists are brand new(well to us anyways) and you might put a little on the saucer to give it a try before diving into the meat & taters!

Meat & Taters

  1.  STONE SOUR have released their live music video for “Whiplash Pants”.  “Hello, You Bastards: Live in Reno” live DVD/CD is out now via Cooking Vinyl.
  2. THROUGH FIRE releases cover of “Listen To Your Heart” by ROXETTE.  Fans can check out the blistering cover here
  3. Thrash legends M.O.D. have released their first single in more than 30 years entitled “The Thrash King”.  Fans can check out the single at their official website here
  4.  Symphonic metal monsters VISIONS OF ATLANTIS have released their music video for “A Life Of Our Own”.  Fans can check out the music video here and they kick off their tour in Austria on February 13th.
  5.  CASPIAN releases live video of “Flowers of Light”, which was taken from the historic Cabot Theatre in their hometown of Beverly, Massachusetts.  Fans can check out the video here.  
  6.  POPPY released the blistering music video for “Fill The Crown”.  Check out this incredible video via Sumerian Records here.  
  7. Symphonic metal band SERENITY have released their music video for “Souls and Sins”.  Fans can check out the music video via Napalm Records here.  
  8. SEPTEMBER MOURNING releases animated music video for “Overdose” for the just-released “Volume III” EP.  Fans can check out the music video here
  9. NATHAN GRAY of BOYSETSFIRE premiered the music video for “Never Alone” via Brooklyn Vegan.  Fans can check out the video here and “Working Title” is set for release on January 31st via End Hits Records. 
  10. SET IT OFF released the B-Side single for “Catch Me If You Can”.  Fans can check out the single here and on January 8th, they will be sharing the stage with SLEEPING WITH SIRENS at Bourbon Theatre in Lincoln, Nebraska. 
  11. FRAMING HANLEY Announces they will be releasing “Envy” on February 21st via Thermal Entertainment.  Fans can check out the pre-order specs here
  12. Canadian rock legends BILLY TALENT have released the music video/short film for “Chapter I Forgiveness I”.  The video/short film features UFC stars Rose Namajunas and Cowboy Cerrone. Fans can check out the video here.  
  13.  SONS OF APOLLO, which features current members of The Winery Dogs, Bumblefoot, Mr. Big, Derek Sherinian and ex-Journey frontman Jeff Scott Soto released the music video for “Fall to Ascend”.  Fans can check out the video here and “MMXX” will be out January 17th.  
  14. IHSAHN will be releasing the first of two EP’s “Telemark” on February 14th via Candlelight Records.  Ihsahn released the music video for “Stridig”, which fans can check out here

  10. NIGHT RIOTS have released “New State of Mind” acoustic album which features a reimagination of tracks from “New State of Mind”.  This includes a cover of “Killing Moon” by ECHO & THE BUNNYMEN. Fans can check out the video here
