1 min read

What: Strange Fest is a local Brooklyn event featuring bands, vendors, artists, and cooks. Hosted by Brooklyn band, The Living Strange. This year’s musical lineup features The Living Strange, Bug Fight (Boston), XK Scenario (DC), Moon Kissed, Emily Weekes, and Holy Vulture. Vendors include Ashley Inez, Kenzcreations & Hope Balsmeyer, Delfina Roybal, Garrett Haran & CO, Al Palace, Lotsa Latkes, and more.

Where: Trans Pecos in Ridgewood, Queens. It’s all ages. Admission is $10.

When: Friday, May 31st

Quote: These fests exist so that like-minded people can meet each other in a multimedia environment. Everyone participating brings their own unique element. There’s not many opportunities for someone of any age to go get a vegan latke, watch a prog-hop band, and paint on a blank canvas with a stranger all in the same space.
