Maggie Schneider & Wolfi Wants You To Not “Pretend” And Be Real About Their Music Video!

Bright-eyed and sparkling new artist, Maggie Schneider, has been turning heads since the release of her brand new EP, Tinted Glasses earlier this year, but today is all about  “Pretend!” This bubbly track was recording in Atlanta with Lee Jennings and features Wolfi, who originally wrote the track. The song is about the complications of falling in love with your best friend and was written as a conversation between two people that love each other but are hesitant to pull the trigger on anything. Wolfi elaborated:
“I’ve always wanted to write a timeless sounding duet, and this was the best I could come up with. I was initially going to release it off my EP from February, but I couldn’t find a vocalist that I liked enough to feature, and when I found Maggie I knew she’d be perfect.” ~ Wolfi (actual name is Emerson Vernon)
The single comes after the release of her music video for”695 North Avenue” off the Tinted Glassies EP. The song is an ode to Atlanta’s historic venue, The Masquerade, where Schneider holds countless memories as not only attending shows but kickstarting her career there. Produced by Rian Dawson of All Time Low atTrack Happy Studios, Tinted Glasses is a culmination of fresh, honest, and open-hearted lyrics discussing relationships, growing up, and navigating through life. Maggie Schneider teamed up with idobi Radio to stream Tinted Glasses in full, in addition to partnering with Substream Magazine for an exclusive track-by-track of the EP. On Tinted Glasses, Maggie Schneider shares,
“All four songs on Tinted Glasses are very personal and are about the experiences and memories that have shaped me as both a young woman and as an artist. The EP explores the highs and lows of life and relationships; it’s about how I’ve grown up in the last year, and the moments and people that have impacted my life thus far. I’m thankful for both the ups and downs because they’ve made me a stronger person and have enriched my music. I hope that people feel connected to these songs.” – Maggie Schneider
