Pop-punk band Victory Kid are teaming up with Substream for the premiere of their EP Thrillenials. The EP is available now!
“Thrillenials is our high octane release featuring three of our fastest songs,” states Victory Kid singer Harrison Nida.“This is meant to be body music. They are some of the most fun songs to play live.”
Thrillenials was co-produced by Victory Kid’s very own frontman Harrison Nida and Allan Hessler (Avenged Sevenfold, The Used). The horns heard on the EP were tracked by Matt Appleton, saxophonist of the extremely popular ska-punk band, Reel Big Fish. Thrillenials is the follow up to the bands successful debut EP Illenials, released this past May. Both EP’s are part of a series of releases the band has recorded that are inspired by the band’s frustration with the negative stigma associated with millennials.
Victory Kid recently released the music video for their first single, “Clownin“, off of the upcoming EP. Check out the music video for the band’s track, which was inspired by the creepy clown sightings that happened a couple years ago in the U.S., HERE.
The trio will be bringing their high energy set to the east coast this August, starting with a stop at Axe and Fiddle Toga Party in Eugene, Oregon on August 18th. Then, Victory Kid will be performing at a handful of shows in Seattle, including this year’s HempFest on August 19th, and will ring in the end of August at Throwdown Thursdays in Whittier, California on the 30th. For more information on the band’s upcoming tour dates check out their Facebook page HERE.
Victory Kid is Southern California’s answer to a question that has yet to be asked. With their high-energy blend of pop-punk, ska and rock music, they allude to a time when everything was possible and nothing was off the table. Thrillenials and the band’s previous EP, Illenials, draw inspiration from the band’s love of real, heartfelt music and political activism, creating a unique mix that’s unlike any other band in their genre.
Victory Kid is Harrison Nida (Singer, Rhythm Guitarist), Nathan Kersey Wilson (Bassist, Backing Vocals), and Carlo Ribaux (Drums).
