The Order Of Elijah Releases “Highly Functioning Sociopath” Single for Upcoming Release “Pathos.Logos.Ethos” via Luxor Records

Missouri metal quartet The Order of Elijah have released brand new single, ‘Highly Functioning Sociopath’.

The track is taken from the band’s upcoming album “Pathos. Logos. Ethos”, which drops May 19th via Luxor Records.

“The title of the record says a lot about what we’re trying to achieve with this release. The majority of lyrics were written in isolation during the beginning of the current American cold culture war. Pathos means emotion, Logos means logic, and Ethos means ethics.” – Shannon Low – Vocals

The Midwest rockers have also announced a co-headlining tour with label mates Upon A Broken Throne in support of the upcoming record.

4x4 - 1

Intertwining ferocious guitar work with an intricate and fluid vocal assault throughout their progressive metalcore arsenal, The Order Of Elijah is back with their third studio album.

The band now boasts a bubbling fan base nationwide, thanks to a slew of notable headline runs spreading their geographical stronghold as well as supports with genre heavy hitters Emmure, Attila, I See Stars & Motionless in White.

The success of 2016’s “War At Heart” – which broke into the top 10 of the iTunes Metal Chart, receiving widespread acclaim – was soon followed by national headlines of a different sort in 2017, after lead vocalist Shannon Low denounced Christianity after studying Dawkins’ The God Delusion. This came much to the chagrin of a host of mainstream Christian publications who took exception to the band’s vocal exodus.

Merely fueled further by the naysayers, The Order of Elijah are poised to deliver the riveting and explosive “Pathos. Logos. Ethos” on May 19th. In the meantime, ‘Highly Functioning Sociopath’ is sure to whet fans’ appetites.

The Order of Elijah is:
Shannon Low – Vocals
Bryan Cox – Guitar
James Copley – Bass
Josh Newlon – Drums
