On February 2nd, industrial pop artist Aesthetic Perfection released the EP entitled “Ebb And Flow”.  When I think of the phrase, “ebb and flow of life”, it’s about the ups and downs that we encounter throughout our lives, for every good there is a bad and for every valley there is a mountaintop that is waiting for us to shout on top of.  Madness To Creation feels that Aesthetic Perfection is trying to encapsulate that with their sound.

“Ebb And Flow” by Aesthetic Perfection has three tracks on this EP, including the title track, the Miggiddo remix of the title track, and a very peculiar yet haunting cover of “Bye Bye Bye”, which was originally done by N’Sync, which features Nikki Misery in the cover.  The tracks incorporate a mix of industrial that would make Celldweller fans appreciate the covers mixed with a pop twist, which can equally be embraced by fans of industrial music and fans of catchy pop music with a darker twist.

The beats, the changes in progression are seamless and the cover song is dark and haunting, which provides a completely different and welcoming twist to the famous pop cover by N’Sync.  This EP by Aesthetic Perfection certainly whets the appetite for the listener to crave even more music from Aesthetic Perfection.  This is chocked full of potential, full of smooth pop, and full of industrial hooks that will make the listener fully appreciate the Aesthetic Perfection experience.  Madness To Creation rates this EP 8 out of 10 stars!  Here is the track listing below!

  1.  Ebb And Flow
  2.  Ebb And Flow (Miggiddo Remix)
  3.  Bye Bye Bye (featuring Nikki Misery of New Years Day) (originally done by N’Sync)
