Cover Vs Original: Did You Know that “Cum On Feel The Noize” by Quiet Riot was a Cover Song?

The headline that I wrote makes me feel a bit ignorant.  I had NO IDEA that “Cum On Feel The Noize” by Quiet Riot was not an original song.  It was a cover song by glam-rock band Slade, which was released in 1973.  On a side note, Quiet Riot hired James Durbin to be the new vocalist for the band.  I am willing to give that a shot!  Quiet Riot’s cover was so good that a lot of casual music fans forgot that their 1983 smash hit was a cover song.  Here is the original by Slade.
