St Louis, MO’s Choir Vandals have signed with Animal Style Records and will release their debut full-length album “Dark Glow” on July 14th.
The band is premiering a new song/video for “Holiday Girls” exclusively on Paste Magazine.
McCutchen tells Paste, “Holiday Girls is about a group of friends who I got really close to in high school. They had their own way of having fun, which contrasted the typical parties with drugs and alcohol. On the weekends, we would go into my friend’s basement where we would dance to music and express ourselves in ways that everyone else would find strange,” he explains. “That group of girls taught me a lot about being comfortable with myself and embracing my differences. They showed me that it’s okay to not be normal.”
“Dark Glow” was produced by Tate Mercer (Daisyhead, Better Off) and mastered by Doug Van Sloun (Bright Eyes, Cursive, Tokyo Police Club).
